Three (3)

There are 3 days to the 1 year anniversary of FNB!!

Three (3) (also denoted as III by the noble Romans). Since we are only 3 days out, let's run out a quick 3x3 (read as "three-by-three"--an exercise in association).

The three (3) trios of three (3) for todays 3x3:

1. Three musketeers

A dutiful trio of swashbuckling suave soldiers in 1600s France, from the book Les Trois Mousquetaires (1844) by Alexandre Dumas.

2. Three books

Some would say a trilogy. And from a very well known trilogy, The Lord of the Rings (written by J.R.R. Tolkien and adapted for the silver screen by Peter Jackson) comes...

3. "Three rings for the Elven-kings under the sky"

Who can forget the three rings of Celebrimbor?

Try a 3x3 of your own in the comments if you feel so bold...
