Time is cyclical, in a way. Of course, it's linear (as we perceive it), but there is also a cyclical nature that we can perceive. We're approaching December again is what I mean. And while it's a different December, it's also still December. 31 days, winter (for part of the world), holidays, end of the calendar year. The list goes on. ..

There is a sense of finality to December--the last chapter of each year. The beginning of something new.
