COOL THING 49:

I recently stayed in Hotel Rooms (one bedroom and one bathroom). Or...wait a minute... was it an Art Gallery?

From the two above photos, I imagine you can see why it is difficult to tell the difference between Hotel Rooms and Art Galleries; for two reasons, those being: (1) Hotels (and many other locations) display wonderful art just like you would find in an Art Gallery. (2) Anywhere can be an Art Gallery in this, our future. That second point is a pretty cool message in and of itself, but unexpectedly stumbling into well-appointed, masterfully displayed art collections while going about our daily lives is incredibly cool. These New Wave Art Galleries are popping up everywhere. Coffee shops, garages, sidewalks, etc. This particular one just so happened to be in a Hotel Room.

There are now 49 Cool Things for your viewing, listening, reading, pleasure. There are only three 2018 Cool Things left to be revealed!
