I know people were excited for "Saints and Spiders" or "Arachnid Redemption," but in the midst of the album development I started thinking about rocks. I've been thinking about rocks a lot now that it is Rocktober. Don't get me wrong, spiders are an important part of my life now, and they always will be. I am a spider advocate for life after my experience in jail a few weeks ago. I won't forget that, and I know my future has spiders in it--both in its creative endeavors and regular day-to-day. This isn't the last we will hear of "Saints and Spiders" or maybe "Arachnid Redemption." I'm just really excited creatively about rocks at this point in time.
I'm thinking about shifting the bad name to "Rock Beneficiaries," "Myopic Boulders," or "As the Stone Flies." These are just some of the names I'm considering. I will say this: Rock as a genre will not be involved with this band. It is very uninteresting to be a rock band with a name related to rocks. That's just the way I feel about it and I will take no arguments from you.
I used to have a pretty cool rock collection in the basement.
