have you thought about business?

I'm referencing the queries I posed a few days ago in relation to a business tip--the best one I have ever received--which I will share with you. as a refresher, these were the four things I wanted you to really think about:

1. what is "business," to me (you)?

2. why is it this way (and not some other way)?

3. how would I (you) change "business," if given the chance?

4. why would I (you) make those changes?

I'll share with you my own thoughts on each of these four questions. keep in mind, these are my thoughts about them. I want you to keep your personal thoughts in mind while you read over these.

1. business, to me personally, is an enigma. there are many competing pillars that contribute to business: humanity, morality, acumen, logistics, creativity, to name a few. ultimately, business is a relationship. it's a connection between two (or more) forces with the intent for an exchange--be it ideas, products, or services. business isn't always viewed in this light, but it is the true form of business.

2. as I just said, business isn't this way, that is just my own personal view of business--what business is at its essence. unfortunately, business has been corrupted beyond its true essence. it exists in its current form because society has adapted specific forms of commerce and interaction over the kiloyears.

3. I would cut away the expletive and get business back to its essential form.

4. because businesses would be more successful, employees and employers would be happier, and the world would be a better place.

those are just my thoughts on these four queries.
