the preliminary flossing responses from this post have given us a few takeaways, as outlined below.
- the response questionnaire was incredibly successful at informing readers about the dangers of gum disease. this is a great service to all of us as it means it served as a fantastic informational tool. job well done!
- we need to floss more. all of us, and we can do it together. unfortunately, genetic editing isn't at an advanced state where we could cross-breed the dna of a human with that of a shark. (I'm joking about how we only get one set of adult teeth, ha ha, unlike sharks which continue growing multiple sets of teeth.)
- most of our gums bleed. it happens. on the positive side, this is a great reminder of our own mortality.
flossing is very important, I cannot stress this enough, which is why I invite you, my loyal readers, to take the pledge with me.
I pledge to floss more often than I do, especially focusing on flossing right before bed, which is the best time to floss to promote gum health.
